It’s a
brick.

No utility. No promises. One brick, a roadmap that goes nowhere useful, and a worldwide treasure hunt where the first person to find it wins.

01 / How a hunt works

Four days. One brick. First one there wins.

Every hunt follows the same shape, so the only thing you need to bring is your shoes.

  1. DAY 1

    The drop

A hunt is announced with one vague clue. Somewhere in the world, a brick is waiting on a shelf.

  2. DAYS 2–3

    The squeeze

Every day the search area shrinks. Country, then city, then street, then an exact pin.

  3. DAY 4

    The find

First one there picks the brick up, flips it over and reads the secret serial stamped underneath.

  4. AFTER

    The proof

Send the serial and a selfie with the brick, in place, holding the day’s codeword. The local Brick Keeper confirms it. The finder keeps the brick.

02 / Example hunt

Watch the net close.

Each day reveals more of the coordinates. Tap through an example drop to see how fast it gets tight. The real one starts Friday 13 November.

03 / Roadmap

Seven phases. Zero utility.

Built one course at a time, bottom up. Pick a brick to see what’s in it.

    04 / Ground rules

    Fair hunts only.

    1. 01

      Anyone can hunt

You don’t need to hold $BRICK to search, find or claim. The hunt is free to enter.

    2. 02

      Bricks live at Brick Hosts

Only venues that agreed to hold one. Never on walls, roofs, railways or private land.

    3. 03

      The serial is underneath

Every brick has a secret serial stamped on its base. You have to pick it up to read it.

    4. 04

      Proof is live

Your selfie must show the brick in place and the codeword posted at pin drop. Old photos don’t count.

    5. 05

      A Keeper confirms every find

The local Brick Keeper checks your serial and photo against their own record of that brick.

    6. 06

      Be decent to the host

No trespassing, no blocked doorways, no shoving. Buy something while you’re there.

    05 / Spec sheet

    The brick & the token.

    06 / Brick Hosts

Got a shelf? Host a brick.

Pubs, cafés, barbers, corner shops, anywhere in the world. Keep a brick behind the counter for one hunt and get a crowd of very determined people through your door.

Want a brick on your shelf?

Message us with your venue name and city. We’ll tell you how hosting works and when a hunt could come your way.

    07 / Do nothing

Lay a brick. It does nothing.
